Terms of Service

All references in this Terms of Service Policy to “we,” “us,” or “our” shall refer to “You” and “your” refers to the user. *Terms of Service subject to change without notice.

Website Usage

Any entity viewing, browsing, buying, and/or selling on is bound to our Terms of Service. If a user doesn’t agree/abide with our Terms of Service, they may not use

User Agreement

Any user caught botting, attempting to hack, or exploit in any way will find their account frozen/banned. Frozen/banned accounts cannot purchase, trade, sell, deposit, or cashout on SkinXchange. Banned account support tickets will be ignored.

Refund Policy

If you've made a deposit and have yet to spend any of the funds from the deposit, we can issue you a full refund for the deposit. If you have made a deposit but have used some funds to make a purchase of an item, we will not issue a refund or partial refund for the deposit.

All purchases of items are non-refundable. SkinXchange does NOT issue refunds for items.  Refunds will not be issued in the event a user mistakenly buys an item and/or no longer wants the item they’ve purchased. 

Payment Methods

Users may purchase with Paypal, Skrill, Bitcoin, Ali Pay, Paysafe, credit, debit & prepaid cards via G2A Pay's payment processor - there is no ID verification. However, deposits and orders may take minutes to hours for G2A to process. G2A also reserves the right to decline an order if they suspect your payment to be high risk. We offer more payment methods via Stripe's processor to pay with payment methods: Credit Cards, Bitcoin, and AliPay. *ID verification will be required for Credit Cards.

For Buyers

SkinXchange is NOT liable for exchange rate/international fees. All items on are priced in USD. Users should do their own currency exchange research prior to purchasing if they’re not familiar with currency exchange rates and/or are not based in the United States. 

There may be times the buyers account cannot receive items through Steam due to a Steam guard trade ban/flagged account or bot issues. In the event the user’s account can’t accept items, SkinXchange will hold the item on our bot until the buyer's trade ban has been lifted. SkinXchange will not send items to another account in the event your account cannot accept items.

SkinXchange has the right to refuse buyers for ANY reason. Buyers who look like they have the potential to be fraud by showing any signs of fraud will be denied.

Buyers are responsible for inspecting items via Steam client prior to purchasing on SkinXchange as well as checking Steam to confirm price accuracy as pricing fluctuates and may be incorrect at times. We will not reimburse you if you mistakenly purchase an item. The photo of the item is provided by Steam and may vary from the actual item as some items are rare or have patterns.

Buyers who deposit money will NOT be allowed to cashout. Our cashout feature is for sellers who sell their items through the SkinXchange marketplace.

SkinXchange reserves the right to cut off any buyer from purchasing without warning if we suspect you are using a parent's card without permission.

All buyers pay transaction fees of 2.9% + 30 cent on every deposit.

For Sellers

Sellers are their own entity and function as their own merchant. SkinXchange LLC is not liable for damages regarding the seller’s account, including chargebacks & its fees.

All sellers will be required to connect a Paypal account to their SkinXchange account under the Cashout section. 2% Paypal fees will be deducted at the time of cashout. 

In the event, a seller does not claim their funds via Paypal - SkinXchange will NOT contact you. Sellers who do not claim their funds and reach back out to us after the funds have been returned to our business account will be charged a $5 restocking fee to have the Paypal funds re-added to their SkinXchange balance. The seller will also be required to reschedule their cashout under the 'Cashout' section and wait up to 10 business days to be paid.

*A minimum of $5 USD is required to be able to cashout.

Instant selling fees vary for our Instant Sell feature, however, are fixed and set by SkinXchange, LLC. All sales are final and non-refundable once the user initiates the trade to our bot. SkinXchange, LLC will not return a skin in the event the user has made a mistake using our Instant Sell feature.

SkinXchange offers lower selling fees as a subscriber for standard selling only. We offer $15/mo or $120/yr for 5% selling. To lower your selling percent down to 1% selling rates, follow our subscription chart  here.  Instant selling does not apply to subscriptions. Subscriptions are non-refundable and must be purchased with your SkinXchange balance.

Sellers who become banned by Steam (Valve) for any reason while your item is listed on SkinXchange will NOT be able to retrieve their item back from our bot until your Steam account is unbanned by Steam. SkinXchange will not transfer items over to another Steam account for any reason.

Steam Bots

SkinXchange bots are used to temporarily store seller's items to be sold on our marketplace via our SteamTradeAPI service. Sellers may not use SkinXchange bots at any time as their own personal storage for their Steam accounts. SkinXchange reserves the right to confiscate well-above Steam market priced items and/or may adjust the price accordingly to get the items off our bot without warning to the user. This is strictly for items under $10. Example: 0.05 skin selling for $1000 would be confiscated and/or price would be adjusted accordingly. SkinXchange reserves the right to unfeature any item from our marketplace without any given notice to the user if we find the item to be well-above Steam market pricing.

Cashouts / Withdrawals

There is a $500 maximum cashout limit per every scheduled cashout. Users will also be required to wait 24 hours before scheduling an additional cashout. Users may only have three scheduled cashouts open at a time.

Cashouts are all sent via PayPal. Cashouts will be sent to the email entered onto SkinXchange in the 'Cashout' section. Users who have entered the incorrect PayPal email or if the cashout is unclaimed after 30 days and gets returned to us there will be a $5.00 return fee. The cashout funds will be credited back to your SkinXchange balance minus the $5.00 return fee. The user will will have to reschedule your cashout and will be added back into the cashout queue, which may take up to 8 business days to be paid. Instant cashouts cost an additional 5% and is NOT a free addition to instant selling nor does it correspond with this feature in any way. Instant cashouts may be disabled any time during maintenance without notice to users. In the event an instant cashout is not sent within a few minutes, please reach out to [email protected] as your Paypal account may have some limitations to receiving money.


We offer subscriptions for lower selling rates which must be paid with your SkinXchange balance. $15/month or $120/year (paid upfront) to start off at 5% selling. Subscribed sellers are eligible for 1% selling as long as they meet our selling criteria. Please see more details regarding subscriptions  here.


SkinXchange is not liable for chargebacks, fees associated with chargebacks, overdraft fees from your bank, and we will not reimburse your item in the event of a chargeback.

  • Users who open a chargeback dispute will be permanantly banned from and their Steam profile and any public information we find on them will be publicly displayed to the SkinXchange community.
  • Users who commit credit card fraud will have all their data/account information forwarded to the FBI. SkinXchange will also be in contact with Valve to obtain more information about the user to help the FBI track them down.
  • If a user commits “friendly fraud” (pretending they didn’t make the purchase in order to obtain goods for free) will have one chance to overturn the chargeback. If the chargeback isn’t overturned, SkinXchange's legal department will submit evidence against you to win the dispute. After we do, our legal team press charges against the user and criminal charges for theft will be filed which will result in hefty fines, jail-time and/or felony charges.

Downtime may experience downtime due to website Steam issues / maintenance / server updates OR users may experience cashout delays due to payment processors with little notice to users. Trades may experience issues during these times. Users must wait until issues are fixed with trades and/or wait for delayed cashouts.

SkinXchange runs buyers and seller promotions.  All seller promotions will have (2.9% + 30 cents transaction fees applied to every sale). Regarding seller promotions, once a promotion is attached to the item. If a user cancels their listing with a promotion attached - the promotion will become invalid and unable to be used. 


SkinXchange pricing and fees may change and become effective immediately without any given notice to its users.


SkinXchange has many security checks in place to help keep our website safe from fraud. We also support two factor authentication to protect your account from being hijacked. If you choose not to use two factor authentication on your SkinXchange account, you will assume all risk and liability in the case your account is stolen, hijacked, your computer is compromised, computer is stolen, your computer is infected by malware or any other virus, or any other means a malicious user may take to access your account without your permission.

Privacy Policy will not at any time now or in the future, redistribute any information of yours that we collect. This includes any information collected from Steam or Stripe such as Steam ID, the games you play, your inventory, any other profile information that is gathered, or any Stripe account access token and account details.

Your personal information gathered such as name, email, phone will never be redistributed to anyone else. However, SkinXchange LLC reserves the right to publicly display your Steam account if you become banned and we may publicly announce your ban or any other public information we find on the user and may be released to the public on any medium.

Banned Accounts

SkinXchange may issue bans to any user for any reason. Immediate bans are issued for attempting exploits, chargebacks, fraud, threatening and/or disrespecting a staff members, or attempting to scam other users in our community. 

Banned users will be unable to purchase or trade.

Depending on the offense, banned sellers will be required to wait the full 14 business days, not counting weekends to be paid for any remaining money from their sales. Sellers who have or attempted to exploit buyers in any way will NOT receive funds.

Any user who becomes banned by SkinXchange, LLC will be permanantly banned from future sites built by the founders of SkinXchange.


When you use G2A Pay services provided by G2A.COM Limited (hereinafter referred to as the "G2A Pay services provider") to make a purchase on our website, responsibility over your purchase will first be transferred to G2A.COM Limited before it is delivered to you. G2A Pay services provider assumes primary responsibility, with our assistance, for payment and payment related customer support. The terms between G2A Pay services provider and customers who utilize services of G2A Pay are governed by separate agreements and are not subject to the Terms on this website.  
With respect to customers making purchases through G2A Pay services provider checkout, (i) the Privacy Policy of G2A Pay services provider shall apply to all payments and should be reviewed before making any purchase, and (ii) the G2A Pay services provider Refund Policy shall apply to all payments unless notice is expressly provided by the relevant supplier to buyers in advance. In addition the purchase of certain products may also require shoppers to agree to one or more End-User License Agreements (or "EULAs") that may include additional terms set by the product supplier rather than by Us or G2A Pay services provider. You will be bound by any EULA that you agree to.
We and/or entities that sell products on our website by using G2A Pay services are primarily responsible for  warranty, maintenance, technical or product support services for those Products. We and/or entities that sell products on our website are primarily responsible to users for any liabilities related to fulfillment of orders, and EULAs entered into by the End-User Customer. G2A Pay services provider is primarily responsible for facilitating your payment. 
You are responsible for any fees, taxes or other costs associated with the purchase and delivery of your items resulting from charges imposed by your relationship with payment services providers or the duties and taxes imposed by your local customs officials or other regulatory body.

Where possible, we will work with You and/or any user selling on our website, to resolve any disputes arising from your purchase.


You agree that any dispute that arises will be resolved in the State of Texas, U.S.A. and with the law of Texas. You agree that any claim resulting in legal proceeding by you and against SkinXchange will be resolved by state or federal court located in Travis County, Texas, having subject matter jurisdiction with respect to the dispute between the parties and you hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts. In any disputes arising under this Agreement, the prevailing party will be entitled to attorneys’ fees and expenses.
